To celebrate the nature, culture and wonder of Canada's northern sky, Astronomy North is inviting everyone to experience The Legendary Sky. Northern and national outreach activities will engage schools, science centres and visitor centres to build a new national awareness of the Arctic and Sub-Arctic sky.

The Legendary Sky Exhibit, and The Legendary Sky Online Resource Centre will provide enhanced access to northern sky knowledge and heritage for students and teachers in the North and across Canada.

The Legendary Sky Diamond has arrived in the Northwest Territories! This unique stone is one of a series of educational treasures that will be unveiled at the opening of The Legendary Sky Exhibit on June 24, 2010 at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre in Yellowknife.
